Published by at 10:07 pm under News,Promotional Products

PPAI members have decided to oppose the Physician Payments Sunshine Act, U.S. S. 301, a Senate bill that could actually ban distribution of promotional items to healthcare pros. Physician Payments Sunshine Act S. 301 is a bill to amend title XI of the Social Security Act to provide for transparency in the relationship between physicians and manufacturers of drugs, devices, biologicals, or medical supplies for which payment is made under Medicare, Medicaid, or SCHIP.

PPAI stands for Promotional Products Association International. It’s a trade organization for suppliers and distributors in the promotional products industry
